Do you have a bucket list? Many people do. A list of the things you want to accomplish in your lifetime. How about a general to-do list? Those things that you need to get done? Well, how about a To-Me list? This would be a list of things to do for ME.
Unfortunately, for most people their Bucket List is a dream list; and maybe they’ll get a few of the items on their ticked off. Maybe. People are more likely to do things on their To-Do list… I mean, that’s what it’s there for, right? But do you put stuff like “get a massageâ€, “go to the gymâ€, “make a healthy mealâ€, “meditateâ€. Happy New Year! One thing that I personally love about the new year is that I get some time off of work to just focus on me. Of course, work is a part of me, so I am definitely thinking about it, but it is within a bigger picture. This is one time of year that I purposefully look at the past year and evaluate how I can learn from the past to make the future better. I’m also setting goals for the next 12 months and getting myself set up for success. (more…)

Do you let yourself get outside of your comfort zone often? When you do, what is it that pushes you out? Or perhaps pulls you out? And what makes you jump back in?
I know a lot of people that seem to live on the edge of comfort. They know what they want – and they know what it will take to get there, and from time to time they ‘stick their toe’ over the edge, but then retreat back into safety.
Let’s chat about safety for a minute. What does it mean to you? For a lot of people, they tell me safety means knowing what is coming up, or not tempting pain, or even not letting themselves or others down. Whatever your meaning of safety, I wonder if it works? (more…)
