Attitudes are Contagious

I’ve been looking back at some of my blog posts. I’ve talked about behaviours, emotions, states, skills, lots and lots of resources… today we’re looking at another aspect of us – something that is similar to a state and just as easily manageable – but not always easy to see… An attitude.

In the 12 years I’ve been working with individuals, I am yet to meet a perfectionist who does the perfectionist thing because “it makes me happy”. Nope. Rather, “it needs to be perfect so other people will know I’m good”. Its for “them”; and too often, there really isn’t a “them”. (more…)
